ENTC 312: 20th-Century American Literature

This class focuses on American fiction of the last 20 years, with an eye to postmodernism, media and culture, information technology, consumerism, and nostalgia.

Requirements:

  1. two papers totalling 20 pages
  2. a take-home midterm exam on the reading
  3. an in-class final exam
  4. scheduled and voluntary participation in email discussions of the reading
